If you were already born, do you remember what you were doing on this date 40 years ago?

I was in 4th class at St Peter and Paul's School, Garran, ACT. It was winter. We all packed into the school library (a room about the size of a double classroom) to watch the arrival on the moon.

Even as a 9 year old, I understood the enoormity of the event. Wow! The American nuns who ran the school were so proud. Little did I realise, what my future held. Gosh, I wasn't even aware of what was going to happen the next day in ways of future events back in 1969. Not that I can remember what I did the next day now - except that it was Tuesday, 22nd July and the feast of St Mary Magdalen - one of the three super special days of my year, back then.

OT: Harry Potter 6

The good thing about living in Australia is that we get to see new-release films earlier than other viewers. I'm not giving out anything about the film except to say that it assumes that you are a Harry Potter nut from the beginning. Do a crash course or fim marathon before you go to 6, OK?

By the way, there is neither stitching to report nor blog visiting being done by me at the moment. Apologies to all. The mojo for both will return soon, I hope. LOL.

Happiness & laughter always,

Felicity

The Seasonal Chairs

It's not exactly a happy dance, but it is the finish of one section of the project.
